Working independently on the major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and stroke related projects Supervising and handling several preclinical neurobehavioral rodent animal models, and biochemical assays Writing grants, research proposals, making presentation, managing lab budget etc.

Research Interest :

Hands-on-experience in cancer, autoimmune disorders (RA and MS) and CNS therapeutic areas Worked on NCEs in CNS disorders and cancer, which now entered in Phase I/Phase-II trials Broad experience in development, validation and efficacy screening of NCEs employing several allograft, xenograft and disseminated cancer models, and rodent CNS behavioral paradigms, pain, inflammation, RA and MS models To conduct the safety pharmacology and toxicity studies Planning and execution of in-vivo pharmacology experiments independently and with team Preparation and presentation of experimental data or reports at multidisciplinary level meetings Involved in the preparation of new therapeutic targets, SOPs, investigator brochure, patent writing, developmental activities of NCE, and budget determination Purchasing of equipment, chemicals, and planning and designing of new in-vivo facility
