Miyuki KIBAYASHI(Ph.D. - Medical Dentistry), is a registered dental hygienist, and is now an associate professor at the University of Shizuoka Junior College Department of Dental Hygiene. I give lectures on school dental health theory and management theory. I received her Ph.D.in Dentistry from Osaka University. In 2008 she won the Osaka University SHIGAKUKAI Award for Research Excellence. I investigate mastication ability throughout countries in Asia, and studies the relationship between mastication ability and lifestyle, eating behavior, and athletic ability. My research has been published in Japan, as well as globally at ACOHPSC2015(Asian Conference of Oral Health Promotion for School Children, Taipei Taiwan),ISDH2016(International Symposium on Dental Hygiene, Basel Switzerland),APCHPE(Asia-Pacific Conference on Health Promotion and Education),and AAPD2016(International Conference of Asian Academy of Preventive Dentistry, Tokyo Japan ).
