Biography :

Clara Amato, received her Laurea degree in Psychology on July 2007 from the University of Rome “LUMSA”. On October 2007, she joined the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy at the University of Rome “LUMSA” as a Ph.D. student, and in February 2011 she obtained her PhD in Work and Organizational Psychology, with a dissertation titled: “How to become an Entrepreneur? Personality and Cognitive Factors Predicting Entrepreneurs’ Success and Satisfaction”. Adjunct Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology, University of Perugia (2013-2015) and European University of Rome (2008-2012). She is deputy Director of Specialization courses in Psycho-diagnosis, Psycho-oncology, and Health Institution Management for Activamentis - Scientific and Cultural inter-university Institution, Rome. She is actually R&D Leader at Blekinge Kompetenscentrum (Sweden). Her research and professional areas of interest are: Entrepreneurship; Self-Regulation, Regulatory Mode of Conduct; Cognitive Biases in economic decision-making process; Well-being in work settings. She is a reviewer of several national and international Journals and a member of the Italian Psychologist Association and of the Italian Society of Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapy (SITCC).
