Goran Stimac is a urologist and subspecialist in urologic oncology, curently empolyed as head of operative urology department at Urology Clinic, "Sestre milosrdnice" University Hospital Center and Radiochirurgia Clinic in Zagreb, Croatia. Received his MD from School of Medicine, Zagreb University. Obtained the postgraduate academic degree in urology in 1994. Finshed his PhD in 2010. from School of Medicine, Zagreb University. Doctoral thesis confirmed the role of chronic prostatic inflammation in prostate carcinogenesis. Professional experience in research, urologic oncology and surgery, endourology, minimally invasive procedures and male incontinence surgery.He has published more than one hundred peer review full papers and international conference proceedings. Senior research associate at School of Medicine, Zagreb University and supervisor of several PhD students and urooncology fellows. Invited lecturer in postgraduate courses and sudies, domestic and international congresses. He is an editorial board member of Journal of Nephrology Research.
