Biography :

I would like to introduce myself as a research fellow currently working as a senior researcher in the center of excellence in pharmacology and molecular biology of malaria and cholangiocarcinoma, Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University, Thailand. I have special research interest in anti-cancer drugs focusing on chonalgiocarcinoma and molecular aspect of the disease using different experimental models. I maintain sound academic background in cancer biology, immunology and biotechnology which has undoubtedly helped me to achieve and further enhance my research in corresponding fields. I have previously worked in the field of Toll-like receptors focusing on effect of potential anti-inflammatory compounds on pro-inflammatory cytokines. In addition, I have been involved in studies of inflammatory response induced during ehrlichiosis and Ornetia tsutsugamushi infections utilizing bone marrow-derived macrophages and dendritic cells. With over dozens of publications in international journals and presentation of my works in conferences including cold spring harbor laboratories (CSHL), Korean society of microbiology and Thailand pharmaceuticals and drug development societies, I am honored to be a part of ever increasing scientific community focusing on drug discovery and development. I am also privileged to have been invited as a research-based expert reviewer for assisting peer-review work in multiple international journals including Molecules and Intervirology.

Research Interest :

• Anti-cancer drug development particularly focusing on cholangiocarcinoma • Cross-talk between Inflammation and Tumorigenesis • Toll-like receptors and their role in innate immunity
