Dr. Lam received his BSc, MPhil and PhD in Department of Biochemistry from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in the field of protein purification. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in Dr. James Ho’s group in Department of Medicine at The University of Hong Kong. His research mainly focuses on treatment of lung cancer and mesothelioma using cell line and xenograft models. He is the author or coauthor of around 40 papers. His current projects include studying of therapeutic effect of PEGylated recombinant human arginase (BCT-100) on lung cancer and mesothelioma. He holds patents related to treatment of lung adenocarcinoma using a combination of BCT-100 and alpha-difluoromethylornithine.
