Dr Sundeep Mishra, MD, DM, FACC, FSCAI is the Professor of Cardiology at AIIMS, New Delhi. He did his DM in Cardiology from AIIMS and did his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology from Washington Hospital Center, USA. He is the Hon. Editor of Indian Heart Journal and in past has been Guest Editor of Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions Journal. He is former Chairman of National Intervention Council of CSI. He is a Board of Trustees of SCAI, USA. He is the Course Director for TCT India, EuroCHORUS, and SIM. He is voting selector of MSCAI Nominating Committee. He was awarded “Young Leader Award” by Cardiovascular Revascularization Therapeutics (CRT), Washington DC, USA and has been awarded Sujoy B Roy “Young Investigator Award” and KL Chopra Award by CSI. He is Winner of National Cardiology Quiz at the Annual CSI Meeting 2013 at Bangalore. He was the first person to do Virtual Histology, Experimental Angiogenic Gene Therapy in India and he developed the Rat Hind Limb Ischemia Model for the first time in India. He has more than 200 Manuscripts, Abstracts and Book Chapters to his credit and has delivered several orations.

My research interests lie in interventional and clinical cardiology. I am already Editor-in-Chief of Indian Heart Journal , a tenured position which will expire in the year 2019. During my tenure, within first 2 years , 1 Indian Heart Journal (IHJ) has now become a family of 4 journals; IHJ, IHJ-Cardiovascular Case Reports, IHJ-Interventions and IHJ-Clinical Dialogues in Cardiology.
