Dr. Saeed Oraee-Yazdani, is assistant professor of neurosurgery at department of neurosurgery of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, since 2017. In addition, he is senior scientist at stem cell center in Tehran, Iran, since 2012. He has obtained medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (2002-2009) and neurosurgery specialty (2011-2016) from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. In 2016, he could get first rank in board exam of neurosurgery in Iran. He is co-editor of International Clinical Neuroscience journal affiliated by Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Most of his researches are focused on nervous tissue engineering and neural repair. Cell therapy for neural diseases especially spinal cord injuries is one of his favorable research field. His works have been published in journals among which Stem Cell Development, Cytotherapy, Spinal Cord and Journal of Biomedical Sciences. Gene therapy for neural diseases is new era of his research field.
