Pramod Kumar Nigam, MD, MBA, MAMS, PGDIHL, FIAD, FRCP is Director cum Professor & Head in the Department of Dermatology, STD & Leprosy, Pt. J.N.M.Medical College, Raipur-492001, Chhattisgarh, India. Dr. Nigam first earned a MBBS in 1984 and then MD in 1987 from the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. After his MD, Dr. Nigam worked as senior registrar at the Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi. In the year 1988, Dr. Nigam joined the Department of Dermatology, STD & Leprosy, Pt. J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur-492001, Chhattisgarh, India as a teaching faculty on the post of assistant professor and got promoted to the posts of associate professor and then professor of dermatology. Presently he is working as Direcror cum Professor & Head, Department of Dermatology, STD & Leprosy, Pt. J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur-492001, Chhattisgarh, India. Dr. Nigam has published over 55 peer-reviewed scientific articles in various areas and has authored 2 Book Chapters. He also serves a member of several national professional societies, as well as editorial board member and reviewer of several scientific journals. Dr. Nigam has been awarded with FIAD (India) in 2012 and FRCP (Glasgow) in 2015.
