Biography :

Wuletaw is a lecturer and researcher in University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He has a PhD specialized in rural development. He has received his master and bachelor of sciences in rural development, and rural development agricultural extension, respectively. He was graduated in diploma in general agriculture. He was an expert in natural and social sciences. His has long experience with specific areas of expertise in agriculture that include supervision, project planning, communication, and training in the field of natural resource, agronomy, irrigation and agricultural extension employed in ministry of agriculture between 1993 and 2010. He was employed in the University since 2010 with the major roles and responsibilities of teaching, advisory service, research, consultancy, and community service. In addition to being an assistance professor, he served as a technical advisor in a project support to ATVET in natural resources management and related livelihoods, a component of GIZ’s SLM employed in IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH for two years (2016-2017).

Research Interest :

The areas of his interest for research include institutions, adoption of agricultural technologies, farming systems, food and nutrition security, population and development, integrated watershed management, and climate change.
