Biography :

Dr. Yakov Naisberg, Psychiatrist/Neurologist completed Ivanovo Medical School in Russia at 1965. He got his training in Topographical Neurology by Prof. E. Steblov. He worked in clinical neuropsychiatric settings In Russia. At 1972, he immigrated to Israel and completed Neurological and Psychiatric residences at RAMBAM Medical Center of Technion Medical School, Haifa. At 1979-80 Fellowship on Community Psychiatry, at Long Island State University, New York. In Israel, he worked as a Head of Psychiatric Community Services at Rambam Medical Center of Technion Medical School, Haifa. From 1981 to 1983 completed Rambam Institute of Psychotherapy. At 1985 completed Psychiatric program on Rehab at Maudsley Hospital in London, UK. At 1989 training course in Psychogeriatric disorders provided by Prof. Tom from Nottingham in Israel. 1990-2001 he was Head of Psychiatric Rehab Department, Shaar Menashe Hospital. 1992-94 he completed medical rehabilitation program from University of Tel Aviv. He partly worked 1992 up-to-date in research on bio-impedance of brain mapping in schizophrenia, depression, epilepsy and migraine. He obtained two US patents on issues of diagnosing and treating mental and brain disorders. From 1990 up-to-date, he is practicing neuropsychiatry.

Research Interest :

He developed and works with a medical model named – the macro biophysical physiological neuropsychiatric operational mechanisms, running normal and abnormal regulated mind and mental disorders. He published many articles on the topic.
