Dr. Javier Andreu-Perez (MEng, MSc, PhD) studied his MEng at the Camilo Jose Cela University of Madrid and his MSc at the University of Granada, Spain. He received his PhD in Intelligent Systems from the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University, United Kingdom. He is currently Research Associate at the Hamlyn Centre within the Department of Computing of Imperial College London, United Kingdom, and member of thegroup of Machine Learning in Health Informatics led by Professor Guang-Zhong Yang. His research has been funded by governmental and industrial organizations and has been published in several relevant journal articles and book chapters. Likewise, he has co-edited special issues and is participating in technical committees and editorials.
