I initiated my research career while doing master of philosophy in Microbiology and completed my research work in King Edward Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. My initial research work was based on antibiotic resistance that was the key issue at that time. There was little information available regarding the surveillance of antibiotic resistance. That was the first study of Pakistan that identifies the VRSA in Pakistani population. I wrote multiple publications regarding the growing concern of antibiotic resistance in Pakistan. I did my masters in Biosciences with distinction and completed M. Phil in Microbiology as batch topper. In 2014, I went to Pakistan’s pioneer vaccine manufacturing facility (Amson Vaccines and Pharma Pvt. Ltd. ) and working here as Manager, Microbiology. I am recently engaged in PhD studies working on vaccine formulations, safety studies, method development and clinical studies. I am constantly involved in research activities related to human vaccines and have multiple international publications. Vaccines are part of the neglected areas. Very few studies cover the infinite scope of vaccine research.
