As Lecturer, Sr. Lecture, Reader, Professor in the Faculties of Biological Sciences and Medicine (1973-1997) and concurrently as Consultant in Clinical Microbiology at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu from 1976-1997 (Established medical mycology laboratories in the Dept. of microbiology in the university and its teaching hospital became a leading center of diagnosis and research in mycotic infections under my supervision) 4. Professor & Head, Division of Medical Mycology in the Dept. of Microbiology, Vallaybhbhai Patel Chest in Institute, University of Delhi. Delhi from September 1997 to April 2003 5. Professor of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, and Preventive Medicine, Epidemiology & Biostatistics in in four medical schools in the Caribbean from September 2007 to December 2016. Finally retired from Saint James School of Medicine, Anguilla (British West Indies) in January 2017 6. Currently working as honorary consultant in diagnosis of fungal infections in a couple of hospitals in Delhi, and occasional Visiting Professor in microbiology in CSS University, Meerut (UP), India
